Three lines, two days, one exploratory

Ski mountaineering with Pacific Alpine Guides

Good weather but not the best ski conditions last weekend, nevertheless conducive to adventuring in our back yard. Snow conditions were fairly awful on northerly aspects with breakable crust over unsupportive nothingness. Best skiing was on south facing slopes where the melt-freeze was supportable and offered a 3 hour window of soft turns midday.
