JAKE BEREN

 

Jake has been a mountain guide for over 20 years. From his early days on Mt. Rainier, to guiding skiing and climbing trips around the world, Jake has routinely traveled to places like Japan, Greenland, The Alps, Argentina, Ecuador, and Mexico. In Alaska he has spent hundreds of days on the highest mountain in North America (Denali) as both a guide and climbing ranger.

Since the very beginning of Pacific Alpine Guides, Jake has been an essential part of the team. Now days can be found guiding at Tebay Lodge, ski & sail trips to places like Greenland and Norway, and Hokkaido powder skiing.

Jake lives in Crested Butte, CO with his wife Brynn and two kids Ruby and Uma.

Jake is an IFMGA Licensed Guide and AIARE avalanche instructor.
