JAKE BEREN

 

Jake has been guiding in Washington State since 2006, returning to his home state to combine passion and profession. Jake guides multiple international expeditions each year to Mexico, Ecuador, and Argentina, as well as an annual trip to Denali (20,320′). In the Northwest he works on Mt Rainier and in the North Cascades. When not mountain guiding he teaches for the Adaptive Sports Center in Crested Butte, CO, climbs, ski tours, and explores water in its frozen and liquid states. Jake’s favorite aspect of guiding is sharing his love of the high places and teaching others how to access the view.

 

Jake is an IFMGA/UIAGM Licensed Guide and AIARE avalanche instructor.
