Jm Gorum

JM grew up in the hot, flat woods of Georgia. When he couldn’t stand the heat any longer, he moved to North Carolina to earn a degree in aquatic ecology and learn about climbing amongst the granite and sandstone scattered throughout the Appalachian mountains. This progression has led JM to the Pacific Northwest, where he has now been guiding for 9 years. In addition to the big Cascade volcanoes, JM also enjoys guiding classic climbs in the North Cascades, Argentina, Russia, and Alaska. JM is an EMT, has completed AMGA Rock and Ski Guide courses, and an AIARE level II avalanche course.
